Gujarat Titans vs Lucknow Super Giants Preview

Gujarat Titans may have qualified for the playoffs but will be desperate to ensure they finish in the top two, thereby giving them another opportunity to finish in the final with just one win.

LSG, however, have been eliminated from the tournament after their loss in the previous match against Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Gujarat’s form has been excellent in the last few matches. In their last match, they chased down Delhi Capitals’ total of 200 with ten wickets in hand, led by a hundred from Sai Sudharsan and another excellent knock from captain Shubman Gill.

The bowling has continued to impress, which will be a key factor going into the playoffs too.

Lucknow Super Giants Form

LSG managed to score 205 for 7 in their previous match, led by fifties from Mitchell Marsh and Aiden Markram. Even Nicholas Pooran contributed with 45 off 26 balls.

However, their bowling let the team down again as Sunrisers cruised to the target with six wickets in hand and 10 balls remaining. That meant that LSG will miss out on the playoffs again after a strong start to the season.
