Pakistan Women hammered Zimbabwe in a stunning 133-run win in their last T20 as they built towards the World Cup in style.

West Indies Women were beaten by Australia in their last match as they slumped to a 40-run loss via DLS.

Pakistan Women are looking to build towards the Women’s T20 World Cup in England and Wales with a one-off T20 against the Windies in Dublin.

Their latest game gives them a chance to build on a run of four consecutive wins in the T20 game, with a single victory over South Africa coming alongside a trio of wins over Zimbabwe. While a 3-0 series win over any opponent is a solid return, their 53-run win over South Africa back in February will be the result that really gives them confidence.

With games against Australia, Bangladesh, India, the Netherlands and South Africa to come, Pakistan still have to win this match as they look to build a winning run that sends them into a very tough World Cup group with form behind them.

West Indies Women Form

West Indies Women will take part in the 2026 Women’s T20 World Cup as they look to get out of a group that contains hosts England and reigning champions New Zealand along with Ireland, Scotland and Sri Lanka.

While Group 2 is potentially the weaker of the two, neither of the two will be forgiving. If the Windies are to make it into the knockout stages then they will have to get used to taking on and pushing the best sides.

Pakistan do not constitute a side in the top bracket, but they are a team that the Windies would fancy themselves to beat. The main worry for the Windies will be that they are in woeful form. Across formats, they have lost their last eight, while they have been beaten in nine of their last 11 T20’s.
