Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Rajasthan Royals Preview & Tips - RR's IPL dreams to end at the hands of SRH

Rajasthan Royals battled to a 30-run win over Mumbai Indians as they secured their place in the playoffs with a win in their final match. 

Their third place finish means SRH know that two matches stand between them and the grand final. First up is a Rajasthan Royals side that SRH have dominated of late. SRH have avoided defeat against RR since a 72-run loss back in April 2023, with six wins coming since then. 

If they can channel their brilliant performance from their final group game into the Eliminator, then they will be tough to stop. The likes of Ishan Kishan, Heinrich Klassen, Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma provide power and poise at the top of the batting order, while Pat Cummins leads a bowling unit that has proved too good for a number of opponents this season. 

With SRH aiming for a place in the second Eliminator, I am backing them to ease past RR as they extend their stunning run against their opponents. 

A run of three defeats and one win heading into their clash with Mumbai Indians had RR sweating over their place in the playoffs. While they did storm to a vital win over MI, they have hardly looked unbeatable of late, and I believe this will come back to haunt them in the Eliminator. 

SRH have been too good for RR of late, while the latter have conceded 190 runs or more in six of their last seven IPL games. If they allow SRH's batting unit to get going then they will take a real hammering.
