La Liga is Spain's top football league, with the competition bringing together European heavyweights including Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid.
Barcelona arrive for the new season as the team to beat after storming to the title at the end of the 2025/26 campaign. This made it consecutive title triumphs as they once again denied arch-rivals Real Madrid.
You can see the latest La Liga winner betting odds in the table below.
| 2026/27 La Liga Winner | Odds |
|---|---|
| Barcelona | $1.80 |
| Real Madrid | $2.10 |
| Atletico Madrid | $15.00 |
| Real Betis | $51.00 |
| Villarreal | $67.00 |
| Athletic Club | $67.00 |
| Rest of the field | $101.00+ |
Barcelona are eyeing up a third successive La Liga crown after triumphing in 2024/25 and 2025/26. Last season, they were far better than any other side as they cruised to the title with time to spare.
This season, they arrive as the reigning champions and favourites. Real Madrid are just behind them, with the side looking to end their arch-rivals dominance in the league.
Atletico Madrid follow on in the betting odds. While Atleti are the most likely to win the title outside of the top two, a triumph for the side is fanciful. Barca and Real are so far ahead of any other side in the competition that while backing Atleti or the other sides provides long odds, the chance of your wager coming in are incredibly unlikely.
This season, Real are looking to rebuild after moving on a number of players, bringing in some new faces and reuniting with Jose Mourinho. The self-titled 'Special One' has a huge job on his hands if he is to end Barcelona's title winning run, but he is clearly the man Real's hierarchy believes can return the club to the top of Spain's best league.
The likes of Kylian Mbappe and Jude Bellingham for Real will once again lead the star-power when it comes to the players, but neither was able to arrest Real slumping to another title failure. This season, Mourinho's side will have to find a way to play like a team, with Barcelona able to utilise their own big names in a well-oiled machine in which each player works for their teammates.
Which team will win the 2026/27 La Liga title? Can Barcelona defend their crown, or will Real return to the summit?
