Despite winning their clash 7-1, a seed of doubt would have been placed at the back of their minds as they were pegged back in the 21st minute with their unfancied opponents making it 1-1. The goals did begin to flow before half-time as they went in 3-1 up, but the floodgates properly opened in the second-half as they scored four unanswered goals. While scoring seven times is something to celebrate, Germany will know that hitting that many goals against a team like Curacao means little when it comes to the tougher games. 

Tunisia were completely outplayed by Sweden in their opening match of the 2026 World Cup as they were hammered 5-1. This was the second consecutive time they have conceded five times after losing 5-0 to Belgium prior to the tournament. Now, without a win in their last four, they are right up against it when they face a Japanese side that is very well organised and will be desperate to extend their unbeaten run at the tournament.
