Pakistan vs Bangladesh Women T20 World Cup Preview & Tips - Bangladesh tipped for crucial win over Pakistan at CWC

Bangladesh Women were hammered by nine wickets in their last game as Australia stormed to a big win. 

In their clash with South Africa, Pakistan looked to have posted a poor score as they closed on 126/9. It looked like this would be well short of competitive with their opponents sitting at 53/1. However, Laura Wolvaardt's wicket saw the team stumble, with South Africa limping to 126/8. While South Africa were always fancied to win their meeting, Pakistan will have hugely disappointed to have missed out on the chance to beat one of the best. 

This is a far more winnable match for Pakistan, but can they deal with the pressure of being the slight favourites? Four defeats in their last five T20's against Bangladesh shows they have struggled against their opponents in the shortest format, and I predict another frustrating loss for Pakistan in their third game. 

However, they were taken to the cleaners by Australia in their second match as they were humbled in a nine-wicket loss. After labouring to 77/8 in their 20 overs, Australia needed just 9.3 overs to eclipse Bangladesh's total with a single wicket falling. In truth, this game was as much a learning experience as anything else, with Australia the best team in the women's game by some distance. 

Now, attention returns to a game they will feel is entirely winnable. Bangladesh are the slight underdogs in this one and this will suit them. They have won four of their last five against Pakistan in the shortest format, and I am tipping them to secure a second win in three T20 World Cup matches.
