Brighton are aiming to be the first side to take points from Arsenal this season and will be fully confident they can stun their opponents after their positive start. A stunning 4-0 win over Aston Villa and a brilliant 5-0 win over Coventry sandwich a 4-3 loss to Chelsea and a 1-1 draw with Leeds. When Brighton have been good, they have blown teams away with a style of football that most sides struggle to contain. While they have lost their last three to Arsenal, they will point to a pair of draws against their opponents in the 2024/25 season. With a win and a draw at home and a pulsating style of football working for them right now, I am backing the home side in the double chance market along with a draw as they shock the league leaders. 

Manchester City will feel that this weekend could be a major chance to move above Arsenal at the summit of the Premier League. The Gunners travel to take on a very strong Brighton outfit while City host Sunderland at the Etihad Stadium. While Sunderland have proved tough to beat all season, City will fancy themselves. Four consecutive wins have resulted in eight goals scored and Erling Haaland has been at the centre of this. Haaland has scored the first goal in each of his last three league games for City while he also scored a brace in their 2-0 win over Porto in the Champions League. The striker looks in ominous form right now, and I back him to hit the back of the net first against Sunderland.
