The 2026 French Open is the second Grand Slam of the tennis season and the only one to be played on clay courts.

With the iconic Roland Garros playing host to the competition, the French Open has been a tournament that has brought a range of big shocks and early eliminations.

With Alcaraz not appearing this year, you can see the latest French Open winner odds in the table below.

All eyes will immediately sway to the huge chasm that Carlos Alcaraz not playing at the French Open leaves in the betting.

Usually jostling for position with Jannik Sinner at the summit, Alcaraz’s omission through injury has had a large impact on the tournament this season.

While it looked like it would be Sinner that stormed to the title, he was eliminated early. Novak Djokovic quickly followed in another shock exit. This has seen the winner of the second Slam of the year blown wide open.

Alexander Zverev leads the odds, but anything could happen. He is followed by Flavio Cobolli, Jakub Mensik and Matteo Arnaldi. Any of the three will feel they have every opportunity of securing the trophy, with Zverev not the all-conquering tennis machines like Sinner or Alcaraz.

With the pressure now on each of the four, we will see which of the players are true contenders. With the pressure cranking up on each, there is nowhere to hide. Zverev will remain the favourite if he makes the final. Despite this, bettors will not likely feel hugely secure in him winning the competition despite his odds.

Zverev has had his issues at the biggest tournaments, with winless runs to the final at each of the Australian Open, French Open and US Open. The worry for Zverev has been winning the showpiece final after doing so much hard work to get there.
