Manchester Super Giants vs Trent Rockets Preview & Tips
Manchester Super Giants were left hugely frustrated as they saw their score of 181/3 chased down by Sunrisers Leeds in an eight-wicket loss.
Trent Rockets easily beat Welsh Fire in their last match as they stormed to a simple nine-wicket win over their opponents.

Head To Head
In their six previous meetings, the Super Giants have won once, with the Rockets winning the other five matches.
Manchester Super Giants Form
Manchester Super Giants saw their two-game winning run brought to an end as their perfect start to The Hundred in 2026 was brought to a grinding halt.
Batting first, the Super Giants saw their top-order fire, with Jos Buttler (63 not out) once again going well. His knock featured five boundaries and four maximums, with the English batter ably assisted by Heinrich Klassen's 53 from 27. However, their score of 181/3 proved at least 20 runs short of truly competitive against a Sunrisers side that cruised to an eight-wicket win.
Defeat will frustrate the Super Giants, but they still looked in good touch with the bat despite failing to go big. Jos Buttler's form will continue to worry the opposition, and I back him to help Super Giants get back to winning ways.
Trent Rockets Form
Trent Rockets were outstanding in their last outing as they made it consecutive victories on the back of their 10-run loss to Birmingham Phoenix in their opening match.
Against the Fire, the Rockets were able to impress with both bat and ball in a very well-rounded performance. The usually reliable top order of the Fire crumbled in conditions that they made to look difficult for batting. Chasing 123 to win, the Rockets easily ran-down their target as Ben Duckett (52 not out from 45) starred in a simple win.
The Rockets were able to showcase a brilliant ability to utilise any slight advantage via the conditions before surging to their target whilst playing risk-free cricket. While the Fire did not help themselves as they fired down seven no balls, the Rockets looked in great touch in a big win.
Now, attention switches to trying to contain another batting unit full of power. While the Rockets were strong against the Fire, I predict they will struggle in this one as they are beaten by their hosts.
Verdict
I am backing the Super Giants to secure a third win in four matches this season as they get back to winning ways.
