Guyana Amazon Warriors arrive for this one on the back of a tight two-wicket win over Desert Vipers in their last match.

Lahore Qalandars were able to secure a battling 38-run win over Desert Vipers in their last game as they made it consecutive wins in the competition.

Guyana Amazon Warriors had to go big in their second Global Super League match as they battled to 206/8 after Desert Vipers had posted a mammoth 205/6.

With the bat, Romario Shepherd led the way with 52 from 21, with this innings featuring two boundaries and six maximums. While the side only had two wickets and three deliveries leftover, they were able to showcase their big-hitting ways when they needed to most.

While Guyana have looked good so far, I predict that they will hit a speedbump in this one. Lahore Qalandars have looked good, and I back Guyana to lose for the first time this season.

Lahore Qalandars have been excellent at the T20 Global Super League, winning their opening two matches and giving themselves a very good chance of making the final.

Their opening game against the Perth Scorchers saw them ease to a 16-run win before they beat Desert Vipers by 38 runs. While this sounds like a comfortable win, it was anything but, with the Vipers making their way to 96/1 after 12.2 overs when chasing 177 to win.

However, the Qalandars hit back in some style with the ball, seeing their opponents go from 96/1 to 136/9. While six bowlers were used, it was Usama Mir that stood out as he took 4/23 in a stunning spell of bowling. The Qalandars snatched victory from the jaws of defeat, and they will be incredibly confident heading into this one.
